Meet Your Hosts
Gail Provinciano-Lippens
Gail Provinciano-Lippens brings over 47 years of dedicated practice and study to her work as a registered yoga teacher, E-RYT and passionate advocate for holistic wellness. As a certified Reiki practitioner in the Usui/Holy Fire III Reiki Ryoho lineage, holding both first and second-degree certifications, and her studies in Sound Healing she seamlessly blends these ancient arts with modern wellness practices.
Gail’s life experiences ignited a passion for helping others, particularly women, discover the profound connections between their body, mind and spirit.
Today, my purpose is to hold a sacred space for women to explore and reclaim the profound wellspring of strength and grace that lies within. I am committed to helping you unlock your inner wisdom and embrace your unique feminine energy.

Heather McDermid
Heather McDermid is a Certified Yoga Instructor (E-RYT-500) who has been practicing and studying the ancient healing art of Yoga for the past 25 years. Heather strongly believes Yoga to be a journey of self discovery, a way of life that awakens us to our truest self, revealing the place within of pure joy, peace and unconditional love.
She considers Yoga as mind-body medicine that enriches every aspect of our being. The style of Yoga that she teaches is gentle to the body, with emphasis on the breath and overall awareness. She infuses mindfulness throughout her teachings; as we connect to the here and now, the body relaxes, the mind becomes calm, and prana (energy) is activated, invoking deep healing for the whole body. Her certifications and trainings include Ayurveda, Reiki Master, Kids Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, and Trauma-Informed Yoga. She offers yoga through studio and private sessions, as well as yoga retreats, workshops, and festivals. She is currently offering her 200 hr Yoga Immersive Studies – Yoga Teacher Training Program in Stonewall, MB, registered through the Canadian Yoga Alliance.
Heather’s purpose is to assist others in finding optimal health, healing and enlightenment!
Frequently Asked Questions
You’ll be staying at Tierra de Suenos Lodge in Playa Chiquita, Costa Rica. The lodge is immersed in the rain forest with little separation between you and nature. A five-minute walk will take you to a beautiful sandy beach on the Caribbean Sea. https://tierradesuenoslodge.com/
If you are coming from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, we can travel together. We will fly Winnipeg-Toronto-San Jose, Costa Rica. If you are not travelling from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, you will fly into San Jose airport in Costa Rica, and we will meet you in San Jose at the assigned hotel. The hotel is close to the airport. The hotel cost is included in your investment.
The retreat dates are October 18-25, 2026. You will plan to arrive in San Jose on October 17, 2026, and overnight in San Jose before travelling to Tierra de Suenos on October 18. On October 18 we will travel as a group by private shuttle, leaving the hotel around 10:30 a.m. to Tierra de Suenos and arrive for supper. Your retreat hosts will be organizing your stay in San Jose close to the airport. We will stay as a group in the hotel, which is included in your investment, both before and after the retreat.
On October 25, 2026, the shuttle will pick us up after breakfast at Tierra de Suenos around 11:00 a.m. to take us back to San Jose. We will overnight at the hotel in San Jose and you will connect with your flight home.
We will travel as a group by private shuttle from San Jose to Tierra de Suenos. The shuttle will pick us up on October 18, 2026, between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m. at the hotel in San Jose.
Your investment of $2850.00 CDN includes 7 days and 7 nights’ accommodation in shared bungalows, 3 meals per day of delicious, vegetarian locally prepared food, the hotel cost in San Jose both before and after the retreat, shuttle both ways to and from Tierra de Suenos, one excursion, and the complete program. Add $400.00 CDN if you desire single accommodation.

Cancellation Refund Policy:
A $25.00 CDN registration fee will be deducted from the refund total
- January 1 – March 30, 2026: 75% deposit refunded
- April 1 – June 30, 2026: 50% deposit refunded
- July 1 – August 15, 2026: 25% deposit refunded
After August 15th, 2026 all retreat payments are final and non-refundable as our venue agreements are finalized by this date, we cannot offer exceptions for cancellations after this deadline.
This retreat is a gentle and soulful journey designed to nurture your body, quiet your mind, and awaken your spirit.
Through daily gentle yoga, guided breathwork and the healing vibrations of sound healing, you will find deep rest and release. You will also tap into ancient feminine wisdom and connect with the profound energy of group Reiki, allowing you to deepen your inner connection and cultivate clarity, calm and vision. You will learn empowering Ayurvedic daily routines –practical tools you can carry home to support your well-being for a lifetime.
Morning: Start with gentle yoga and breathwork, followed by guided journaling and a nutritious breakfast. Then enjoy free time with optional outings like nature walks or beach play.
Afternoon: After a nourishing lunch, dive into inner exploration and integration sessions, with a sacred pause for rest/journaling/free time.
Evening: Wrap up with a delicious dinner and evening activities.
Your retreat experience is entirely your own. We have curated a daily schedule of optional experiences-including workshops, yoga, and meditation-but we’ve also included plenty of spacious, unstructured time. This freedom allows you to listen to your own needs and choose what truly nourishes you, whether that means attending every session or simply finding a quiet space to rest and reflect.
There will be optional activities, cultural tours and wellness treatments for you to choose from such as rafting, zip lining, surf lessons, kayak, rainforest and night hikes, horseback riding, food/culture/walking tours in Puerto Viejo, visit the many beaches.
US$ or Costa Rican Colones. Often US$ will be accepted but you will usually receive Colones in change. Cash will be needed to pay for your optional tours.
